Shannon Ames Fuller

Shannon grew up in beautiful upstate New York in a family of strong faith. She came into Anglicanism gradually, moving from a non-denominational background though charismatic Bible school, community college, and then Wesleyan University. Graduating with a degree in communications and a minor in childhood education, and moving right into work as an administrator and program director for the Episcopal Diocese of Albany’s youth and summer camp program, it was through these years that she discovered a love for liturgy and the Book of Common Prayer.

Feeling a continued call to ministry and through her time of urban outreach with a stellar group of priest friends who encouraged her to “check out their seminary,” she found herself at Trinity Anglican Seminary, where her understanding of the theological underpinnings of Anglicanism only made her more excited to connect to this expression of the faith. In these years she saw the confirmation of a call to ordained ministry, marriage to Andrew, a fellow seminarian, the birth of our first child, and many instances of receiving God’s gift of ministry and grace from a myriad of Trinity professors, fellow seminarians, and Pittsburgh clergy and lay people! It is such a gift to share this day with so many of these friends and mentors.

Shannon, Andrew, Ephrem, Lilias and Adorée now live in Dallas-Fort Worth and Shannon serves as family minister at St. Luke Medical District in the diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others, where she will be transferred to serve in her diaconal role.

Scott Means

Scott is a life-long Pittsburgher, and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in mechanical engineering.
He has worked the past 12 years in full-time homeless outreach ministry and is currently serving as the interim director of ministries for Shepherd’s Heart Fellowship.

Scott is married to the Rev. Peggy Means (38 years), living in Penn Hills, and worshipping at Reconciliation Anglican Church. Their precious daughter, Molly, lives in Pittsburgh’s North Side.

Shannon Reed

Shannon was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, by parents committed to passing the faith and serving as a family in the church. Shannon is married to Collin, who serves as the assistant rector at St. Stephen’s. Shannon and Collin have two adult children, Jackson (23) and Olivia (19).

She began her journey serving and working in children’s ministry 23 years ago, when she became a mother. She began serving in the Baptist Church, and her journey continued when the Reeds found their home in Anglicanism. Shannon, who recently received her certificate in Diaconate Studies from Trinity Anglican Seminary, has been on staff at St. Stephen’s in Sewickley as the minister to children and families since October of 2022. Throughout her life, she has found serving children and their families to be joy-filled and such a blessing. Her passion is not only for assisting children in learning the scriptures, finding their giftings, and discovering their joy in Christ, but also discipling and serving alongside many lay ministers. She also enjoys equipping families with tools to integrate worship into their everyday lives. She holds special needs families close in her heart.

Shannon says her dream came true when she became a wife and mom. She and Collin enjoy hosting friends in their home and gathering folks around the table, day-trip discoveries, digging through antique stores, or staying at home watching football, golf, or any sport available to view. Their favorite place to be outdoors is in the sand by the sea and they love a good snowfall!
