African Development Programme works across the African region. From engagements with continental bodies such as the African Union in developing the AU Social Policy framework and involvement with ECOWAS for its Labour Policy, ADP possesses the expertise and understanding of the workings of the various regional groupings.
Over a decade of mobilizing civil society organizations across the sub-region to strengthen partnerships and empower them for effective engagements with governments, particularly amongst the West and Central Africa, favorably positions ADP in providing expertise to tackle development challenges in many of these countries. Having played host to the secretariat of the International Council on Social Welfare for the West and Central Africa for six (6) years, ADP is well acquainted with the developmental issues within the region
The organization is based in Accra, Ghana where it operates from and works closely with CSOs, government agencies and development partners.
